Prismiq Streaming Media Player


In a nut shell? A very cheap XBOX 360 like device without the games and just the streaming. The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer entertainment gateway delivers high-quality digital entertainment content to standard TVs and stereos throughout the home using Windows MediaManager. The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer communicates over your home network with PRISMIQ's Windows-compatible MediaManager software, which runs on the networked PC to detect suitable PC and Internet files anywhere on the network. These PC and Internet files are served by the MediaManager software to the MediaPlayer set-top box, to be played on your TV or stereo.

It's not getting rave reviews, but might just do the trick for $99 bucks.
