Injuries Rise Because of Flat-Panel TVs

tvstand.jpg

A recent report, published in the journal Clinical Pediatrics by researchers at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, has stated that almost 17,000 children were rushed to ERs after heavy or unstable furniture fell on them. Those injuries had risen 41% since 1990. Forty seven percent of them were caused by televisions, many bigger flat-panel TVs. To kidproof your house, have your plasma mounted by experts, or make sure you use a Plasma TV Standthat is stable and can handle a toddler who thinks it is a jungle gym.
