PlayNow Arena Adds Movies

playnow.jpg

Sony Ericsson's PlayNow Arena, a European service that currently allows downloading of games and music, plans to add movies this month with W995 in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK. Users get to choose from about 15 movies a month, download them on their PC, transfer to phone, then watch for up to 90 days. We expect this will be a trend, as it seems once one company comes up with an edge, others tend to jump on the selected bandwagon.
