Blockbuster To Be Featured on Samsung Products

We guess that Netflix finally got a subtle nudge by Blockbuster as they have teamed with Samsung to offer their OnDemand streaming with HDTVs and Blue-ray players this fall. Owners can search and browse, rent or buy and receive "instant viewing." In addition, those with Samsung 2009 BD players and HTIBs, LCD and plasma TVs from Series 650 and above, and LED TVs from Series 7000 and above will be able to download Blockbuster's OnDemand widget and some will need a firmware upgrade.
