Freakin' Friday! Turntables Are "In" Again
Since we heard the news about the rise of vinyl sales, we decided to drag our old ones out of the cellar and seek something to play them on. For this Freakin' Friday, you do the same and pick the turntable of your choice.
Sony's PS-LX300USB USB Stereo Turntable System has USB audio output, is fully automatic, has a built-in phono preamp and a static balance tonearm.
On a budget? The Audio Technica AT-PL50 Belt Drive Turntable plays records at 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. It has a switchable preamp, an Integral Dual Magnet
stereo cartridge with replaceable stylus and is easily accessible with controls on the front.
Even less expensive is the Jensen 3-Speed Stereo Turntable. This reeks of nostalgia and has an AM/FM Stereo Radio, built-in speakers, exterior speaker outputs, headphone jack and comes with a dust cover.
If you want the whole package, TEAC's GF450K7 has a 3-speed turntable, cassette player, an analog AM/FM stereo tuner with large horizontal scale and CD player/recorder and is supports CD-R/RW recording (phono to CD, tape to CD, AUX to CD.)
