FCC Calls For Internet Neutrality

FCC chairman Julius Genachowski wants free and equal web traffic. He would like to prohibit discrimination against any Internet access provider so that firms that can pay will not have a priority over those who do not. We expect this will be a long drawn out fight (you know who you are,) so hang on for a bumpy ride. At least he has the blessing of the Pres., who appointed him in the first place. Read the entire speech he gave at Brookings Institute in Washington on the FCC's new Open Internet beta site.
