No more uncomfortable earbuds. Sony has released its fine-looking new S-540 Series Walkman that comes with built-in stereo speakers. It has a high-contrast 2.4" QVGA LCD screen, fast response and plays at 30 fps. The Walkman has up to 42 hours of audio play time or 6.5 hrs. of video playback. Loading is simple drag and drop from a PC. Available in several colors, pre order the 8GB model or the 16GB player. You can find a less expensive E-340 Series in 8GB and 16GB models.
