GE Brings Good Things to Patients

GE is working on a Wireless Patient Monitoring System that gets information from sensors to nurses stations or other locations. Working with the FCC, they are developing a vendor-neutral frequency band for communication. The BSNs collect information such as temperature, blood pressure, blood glucose and electrocardiogram readings in real time. This will certainly be a fine alternative to all the wires and finger connections now used in hospitals.
