Coby Issues Voluntary Battery Recall
If you are one of the 19,000 who recently purchased a Coby TF-DVD-8501 player, the company has issued a voluntary recall on the batteries that came with them. They have overheated in 10 of them and caused fires in eight. Check your batteries and contact the company if the serial numbers start with "HY." Coby will replace them and in the meantime, use your AC adapter.
