Freakin' Friday! Droid Finally Arrives
We have all been inundated with commercials from Verizon Wireless, bragging about all the things that their Droid does, things that their major competitor, the iPhone, can't. Its 3.7" 854x480 display puts the iPhone 3.5" 480x320 display to a minor shame. Built on Android 2.0, the Magnavox smartphone has adopted Google services, including Apps, Voice and Maps, the latter being a freebie. A $199.99 investment with 2 year contract and email can make you a new proud owner, while existing customers can get one for $149.99.
