TVs With Internet Access For The Holidays

sonywbravia.jpg

Major manufacturers plan to launch TVs for the holidays that can integrate the Net with traditional broadcasting without the need for a set-top box. Having learned their lesson from the last convergence that came with browsers and were too much for the average consumer, these Web sets only will need a remote to access. For example, this W Series Sony Bravia has an ethernet connection in the back and Bravia Internet Video capability built-in.

While this may not be good news for set top box makers, it certainly is for Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Vizio and other companies. Look for prices between $1,000.00 and $2,000.00 for a 40" screen.
