Movie Gallery To Close Its Doors

Another video chain appears to be biting the dust. Movie Gallery will be closing its 1,906 video and game rental stores. The chain filed for bankruptcy in February, after it had outbid Blockbuster to acquire Hollywood Entertainment and Game Crazy. Sadly, this will not be the last of it. In our own neighborhood, we watched one rental store close its doors while another is offering recent releases at only $1.00 in an effort to stay afloat.
