CYCLOPS Universal Remote

cyclops.jpg

The CYCLOPS was originally conceived as a keyboard for the Genos TV Cable box, but has morphed into an ergonomically correct universal remote. It can connect via Bluetooth to most cell phones, turning it into a modem. Another version is being designed as a video game controller. Genos' founder Rob Shambro first designed it out of Play Dough, proving that great minds need little in the way of tools to be creative.

"ergonomically correct universal remote" -- give me a break! That looks like the most ergonomically UNCORRECT remote I've ever seen.

The test of a good remote is can it be used in the dark completely by feel. With this one, I think not.

curt,
i tend to agree with you. these were their words. i have never been able to use a remote in the dark so i guess none of them are really "ergonomically correct."
