FCC Approves CableCARD Regs

The FCC finally approved new regulations for the CableCARD suggested in its National Broadband Plan. In a nutshell, this will allow consumers to change cable providers without replacing their equipment. We see this as a win-win situation for everyone and, in a press release, the CEA verbally applauded the move and proclaimed that it will "set the stage for real competition and further innovation."
