Ford SYNC Safer Driving Text By Voice

mapford.jpg

Kudos to Ford for using Bluetooth Message Access Profile in their SYNC systems. The latest version G1 V3.2.2 allows drivers to receive text messages by voice. The system recently added live operator assistance to its on-screen navigation, hands free calling, driving statistics and mobile entertainment. Chevy may get all the props for its commercial blitzes for OnStar, but some should go to Ford too since RIM has embraced MAP and companies like Samsung, HTC and LG will soon be utilizing it as well.
