Apple Aids Students and Authors

ipad-texbook.jpg

Apple has always included students in its fan base and we can still remember when the first computers in school were Macs. These days they are hoping it will be the iPad that makes the proverbial grade with iBooks, with over 20,000 educational apps for teachers to take advantage of.

And for writers who want to self publish, the free iBooks Author is a fairly simplified tool that uses copy/paste for text or importing from a Word or Pages document. Drag and drop images and use included widgets if desired.

So no more excuses. Go write the next great American (or international) novel. After completion convert to PDF or peddle it in the iBookstore.
