Redbox and Verizon Create Project Zoetrope

Watch Redbox make its move for video dominance later this year as it teams with Verizon to offer "Project Zoetrope." Redbox provides the DVDs and Blu-ray discs, streaming and downloadable content and Verizon will be offering "affordable" rental service. This move shows the video company to be even more aggressive as it recently purchased 10,000 Blockbuster-branded kiosks and additional DVDs from NCR for $100 million.
