Crescent Develops Holodeck

Japan's Crescent Inc. has been working on a holodeck! Their Immersive Digital Entertainment uses super hi-definition cameras, Virtools (real-time rendering technology) and image analysis software. Takahiko Akiyama of 4D Brain, who assisted on content development, says that the user can see changing images based on their thinking. Created for industry and medicine, it can also be used for entertainment. After checking out the video, we say, "Sign us up, Scotty!"
