Sony A/V Receiver Uses Bluetooth/WiFi

Sony has devised a new A/V system. Instead of using Ethernet, the 7.1 channel STR-DN1000 can utilize either Bluetooth or WiFi adapter and wireless speakers or optional transmitter card. Compatible with Blu-ray disc players, PlayStation 3 and other sources, it has 7 HD inputs, 4 of them with "Active Intelligence." Being able to bypass your PC for less $400.00 makes the receiver an even better deal.

Feel the Zen With Sound Scape

Can you say Ohhhmmm? The Sound Scape Audio System is a design that can play healing music/sounds (like rainfall or the ocean) through a cut out speaker while an LED projector displays nature images. We can see this one going up in hospital birthing rooms or dental offices that have a tendency towards root canals.

Plantronics' flexible Boom Headset is compatible with any phone or device with a 2.5mm jack and includes a noise canceling microphone. Jabra has a Universal Earpiece with mini-boom mic and works with either ear.

Motorola's Headset is mono but lightweight and comes with shirt clip as does this Universal Earpiece that works with most cell phones.
