bangolufsenbeosound5encoredantetktk.jpg

When Bang & Olufsen do music, they always do it with finesse and big bucks. As a follow up to their BeoSound 8, the smaller Encore has access to over 13,000 stations with video on its 10.4" LCD. The digital music system has playback of both WMA and FLAC lossless files from an external hard drive, music server or USB stick. If you already own a BeoSound 5 or BeoMaster 5, you can add tunes to other rooms. Look for its debut next month at a retail price of $3,350.00.

iKlip Microphone Stand Adapter for iPad and iPad 2

imic_nav.jpg

We've been using the iKlip over the past week (thanks to IK Multimedia for sending us one), and we simply love it. We are a bit of a tab guitar playing aficionado, and the iKlip holds our iPad2 perfectly in place while we strum away. You can also use this to showcase lyrics if you already know the tune, and it's also great to use with Garageband or their iRig iMic to have your recording iPad right there while you play making controlling it easier because it's not sitting over at an odd angle propped up on a table. We simply love this thing and if you're doing anything musical with your iPad - this is for you.

Features:

  • Compatible with both iPad and iPad 2 (using the included iPad 2 adapters)
  • iPad 2 adapters are also available for previous iKlip users as a separate purchase for $9.99 / €7.99*
  • Universal stand clip securely attaches to virtually any microphone stand
  • Multi-angle adjustment allows precise positioning for optimal stage or studio viewing
  • Quick-snap clips provide fast, secure iPad insertion
  • Fast installation — iKlip installs on your mic stand in seconds with the twist of a knob
  • All controls, buttons and connectors are accessible when your iPad is clipped into iKlip
  • Can be mounted on the vertical part of a mic stand, or on a horizontal boom for limitless positioning

Freakin' Friday! Captain America Headphones

CaptainAmericaheadphones.jpg

Sure, you can get a Captain America 3-chambered cup at Dunkin Donuts to let everyone know that you are a fan, but when the drink is gone, you get a strange cup useful only for recycling. For those heavy duty fans, Coloud is offering CA headphones, printed with 3D rubber patches, adjustable headband and a 3.5mm jack. And if your fave hero is Wolverine or Iron Man, they got that covered as well.

Smart Accessories for Nokia N9

nokiaspeaker.jpg

Soon after releasing their new N9 smartphone, Nokia has a new line of wireless products that can leave you cord-free. Their Nokia Play 360 is portable, the MD-310 is a music receiver for your home stereo, attachment is USB on the Fast Charger AC-16 and the NFC+ Bluetooth headset is compatible and comfortable. The niftiest aspect of said accessories is that the user only needs to tap it to the phone to establish a connection, and in the case of the speakers, they know to switch to stereo when two of them are detected. Look for a Q3 release.
