Sherwood Newcastle R-972 A/V Receiver

While Trinnov audio technology has been in the works for a while now, this is the first time that it is being offered to the average consumer. The Sherwood Newcastle R-972 A/V Receiver may start up a friendly competition with Audyssey since both are mutually exclusive. Trinnov sets up equalization and corrects characteristics like distance, dimension and reflection. It also measures and makes up for an area's 3D spatial characteristics.

It will be interesting watch the audio games will begin. If you are on team Trinnov, the R-972 will set you back $1,800.
