Bel Canto Improved Stereo Amps


Bel Canto has outted new stereo amplifiers. Both claim to reduce sensitivity, lower noise and deliver better sound. The compact S125 features a 117dB dynamic range to 4 ohm speakers. The REF150 amp also has the same range with 75 watts into 8 ohms and 150 watts into 4 ohms. Both are now available for purchase.

Taiwan's Apacer has released a new HD media player with 2 USB ports for connecting to an external hard drive. The AL670 supports most file formats, plays back at 1080p HD and connects via HDMI, Component Video, or AV cable. But the best part is the description on the company's website. You can't go wrong with "joyful sharing" with included slideshow and sound effect capabilities.

T12 Soundbar Features Spatial Stereo


English musician Ted Fletcher helped develop Orbitsound's T12 soundbar with its spatial stereo technology. In plain English, that means surround sound from anywhere in the room. The device can attach to iPods, iPods, and has a 3.5mm jack and RCA port for your other musical gadgets. The T12 will be available this month for £300 (~$440.)

Sonos has announced that their S5 Music System is now available in black. The wireless home music system streams iTunes content from your iPhone or iPod touch in any room. Five integrated speakers and 5 dedicated digital amplifiers stream from SIRIUS, Internet Radio, Pandora and other online stations.

Android users can now get SIRIUS XM with a new app. They have even offered a 7 day free trial so that you can test it before buying. Already available for iPhone and BlackBerry, the service gives subscribers access to over 120 channels. The application is free for those who are currently Premium Online subscribers.
