Yamaha Stylin' With Clock Radio Line


Yamaha's TSX-W80 TV combines form with function. The sleek clock AM/FM radio has a timer, mini-jack input and built-in speakers. Each comes with its own remote and wireless iPod cradle for streaming with the company's AirWired technology. It is due out this December in beige, dark blue or brown.


The company is also offering a more macho looking TSX-70 with the same capabilities. No price has been released on either as yet.

Chumby One - Less Bucks, Faster Speed


After 2 years on the market, there will soon be a new Chumby in town. The WiFi Chumby One will have a new hard shell, a faster CPU from 350 to 454mHz, FM and Internet radio. The 3.5" 320x240 display will remain the same and there are still about 1,500 widgets available. The price should be around $100.00, half the price of the original.

Pure Sensia Radio Allows Social Networking


Pure will soon be launching Sensia, the first DAB digital and Internet radio with a handy 5.7" 640 x 480 color touchscreen and WiFi streaming. With the company's Clearsound technology for 30W RMS of stereo sound, it has plug-in applications for social networking that include Twitter, Facebook and Picasa. The Sensia will become available at the end of October for £249 (~$400.00.)
