Ludacris Celebrates Party in a Box

For those musicians who aspire to loftier products to put their name on than perfume or nail polish comes Ludacris' Soul Electronics line of audio products including headphones and Party In a Box. Okay, the name is a bit silly, but the speaker system can dock an iPad, is both Bluetooth and AirPlay compatible, and has a 5.8GHz 2-way transceiver and FM RDS tuner. It features two 6.5" woofers, four 1" tweeters and two 3" drivers and made its debut at the CES 2012.

Sony Overkill at CES 2012

Seems odd that the CES runs early in the year, when having it before the holidays might help electronics companies get potential buyers and journalists/bloggers all fired up. Although this may be the last year for some of them to party in Vegas, many of them came out full guns products blazing.
Sony brought out a gazillion new devices, well, almost that many, including its new line of Bravia HDTVs, some with 3D, Blu-ray players, two with built-in Google TV, and home theaters with Blu-ray as well.

Freakin' Friday! Halloween Means Rocky Horror
After the final trick or treater has retired for the night, nothing says Halloween like a viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show while pigging out to the last of the candy (unless you can find a midnight screening somewhere.) Gleeks already got a taste of it this week as the Fox show devoted an entire episode to the cult classic with cameos from Barry Bostwick and Meatloaf. The astute producers released a CD before the TV show was aired as a special treat, but nothing can compare with the original. It's just a jump to the left.
