Stycom Portable Dock is Foldable

flatpackdock.jpg

cassetteconverter.jpg

If you still have some old cassette tapes stashed in your attic, (you know who you are) the Cassette to iPod Converter literally lets you play them. The converter also works with iPhones, has a headphone jack audio output and needs two batteries (not included.) Cassettes can also be played on PC or Mac with included software and yours for $79.95.

By the way if you heard about this as being available from Hammacher, they no longer carry it.

Samsung Docks Bi-Useful

dae670.jpg

Samsung has a couple of new audio docks that support not only Galaxy S phones and players but Apple devices as well. The DA-E750 Speaker/Dock has "hybrid vacuum tube amplifier technology" that reportedly combines clear digital sound with a natural one produced by a vacuum in its preamp. The DA-E670 lacks the tube, but both stream wirelessly with AllShare or Airplay and charge while you listen. They make their debut at the CES 2012.
